Vector art is very different from bitmap art which is a photo or an image that can’t be resized. Vector by contrast is made up of lines and points, so the program you use to edit it can change its size without getting jagged edges or making the artwork fuzzy. This is especially important if you’re creating flyers and posters and want different sizes.
Delete or add objects – Clipart often consists of many pieces joined to make one object. Because of this, you may come across a piece of clipart that’s just too busy. But all is not lost. If you only want parts of the clipart, you can simply delete the parts you don’t want.
Clipart and Science. Science is perhaps the most difficult subject to teach in the home school. Parents may feel they lack the resources to provide an effective science curriculum at home. Many science, including biological and botanical sciences, can be effectively taught with clipart images of animals. Search libraries and clipart galleries for illustrations of plants, trees, and animals. You may look for both full-color and black and white images.
The magnetic lasso tool allows you to select specific parts of the clipart. The result is that you don’t have to color the entire image the same color. Magnetic lasso properties can be altered to fit your needs. However, you must be familiar with the lasso tool in your particular program.
